Removing MeshRoute
Drag the app to the Trash. MeshRoute cleans up after itself.
Drag it to the Trash
Drag MeshRoute.app to the Trash. That is all you need to do.
MeshRoute runs a small background program on your Mac. When the app is gone, that program notices and removes itself. This takes about an hour. You do not have to do anything while you wait, and you do not have to empty the Trash.
Changed your mind?
Put MeshRoute back in your Applications folder within the hour and nothing is removed. Everything keeps working as before.
If you want it gone right now
You only need this if you do not want to wait the hour.
Open Terminal, paste the line below and press Return:
sudo launchctl bootout system/com.windium.meshroute.daemon
Type your Mac password when it asks. The letters will not appear as you type. That is normal.
Then paste this line and press Return:
sudo rm -f /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.windium.meshroute.daemon.plist /Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/com.windium.meshroute.daemon
Now drag MeshRoute to the Trash, if you have not already.
Installing it again later
Download MeshRoute and open it. It will ask for your password once to set itself up, just like the first time.
If you bought Pro, choose Restore Purchase. Your license is linked to your email address, so it comes back.
